Twice before my house had been listed for sale "with no offers". So, I was torn whether to even try again. When I told my home representative "NOEL POTTINGER'' "I'm nervous, very nervous", he calmly & confidently said, " We just trust in the Lord." The pivotal moment was this first evening meeting with Noel at my home of 19 years. Noel said, " Let's put the sign in your yard tonight." That was 7:00 P.M., on a Thursday when the rush to be a SOLD home just began. Two days later, on Saturday afternoon, the first potential buyers - "lookers" came... They returned two more days later, then the first offer came from them. There were other showings happening, like a buzz of busy bees. But these initially, interested buyers, continued to pursue "my home". All processes continued. and with the support & knowledge of Noel, my realtor. Noel did not force or strongly persuade me to make changes or improvements to my home. We did discuss them. Being a widow, with very limited resources, I needed to trust in Noel & especially my Heavenly Father, to perform His Divine Intervention. Listing was on August 24, 2006 and sale was closed on October 31, 2006. Because of some special funding for the buyers, the actual closing took some extra time. My gratitude to Noel Pottinger, and the Lord of my life, is continuing as I am getting comfy and settled in my new home, that they all also worked in the purchasing of.
